PRIVACY POLICY

PRIVACY POLICY

Protecting your privacy is very important to us. We want to inform you thoroughly about how we handle your data.

1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a webpage is accessed, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which includes, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of access, transferred data volume, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval.

This access data is evaluated exclusively to ensure the trouble-free operation of the site and to improve our offering. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offering, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests, according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. All access data is deleted at the latest seven days after your visit to the site.

Hosting Services by a Third-Party Provider

As part of processing on our behalf, a third-party provider performs the services for hosting and presentation of the website. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offering, which prevail within the context of a balancing of interests. All data collected in the course of using this website or in designated forms in the online shop, as described below, is processed on their servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope explained here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or European Economic Area.

2. Data Collection and Use for Contract Processing and Opening a Customer Account

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us in the context of your order, when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), or when opening a customer account. Mandatory fields are marked as such because, in these cases, we absolutely need the data for processing the contract, processing your contact, or opening the customer account, and without the information, you cannot complete the order and/or open the account or send the contact. The data that is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for contract processing and processing your inquiries. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data is restricted for further use and deleted after the expiration of tax and commercial storage periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can take place either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a function provided in the customer account.

3. Data Transfer

For the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company entrusted with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the order process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, payment service providers commissioned by us or the selected payment service. In part, the selected payment service providers collect this data themselves if you create an account there. In this case, you must register with your access data at the payment service provider in the order process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies in this regard.

4. Email Newsletter

Email Advertising with Newsletter Subscription

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the data necessary for this or separately provided by you to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a designated link in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.

5. Cookies and Web Analysis

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the optimized presentation of our offering, which prevail within the context of a balancing of interests, according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted again after the end of the browser session, i.e., after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can find out how long storage takes in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance, or exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general. Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for Web Analysis

If you have given your consent according to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, this website uses Google (Universal) Analytics for website analysis, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (www.google.de). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before being transmitted within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data. After the purpose has been met and the use of Google Analytics by us has ended, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Google LLC is based in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an appropriate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. This prevents the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google.

As an alternative to the browser plugin, you can click this link to prevent future data collection by Google Analytics on this website. An opt-out cookie will then be stored on your device. If you delete your cookies, you will be asked to give your consent again.
